My approach

My name is Munjeeta (she/they) and I am a clinical sexologist and relationship therapist in the final stages of my training.

I am a pluralistic client-centred therapist, which means I draw on different tools and techniques to tailor my practice to you as an individual. I value collaboration and I provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore the challenges you are experiencing, with my support. I use a bio-psycho-social framework that allows us to work holistically to understand the influences of, and interplay between, biology, psychology and social environment.

In my past life I was a primary school teacher. It was working with children that brought the importance of mental health to the forefront for me and I left teaching to pursue play therapy (for children). However, as someone who has always been curious about sex and relationships, I eventually shifted my focus. I completed my foundation certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2021, before beginning my diploma in Clinical Sexology and Relationship Therapy at the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology.

My cultural background is mixed – Indian and English – and I have type 1 diabetes. I work with people of all ages, backgrounds, sexualities, gender identities and relationship styles, as well as those who have chronic health conditions.
